Assessment Scheme
Some modules will be assessed by examination only (Examination modules) while some modules will be assessed by assignment only (Assignment modules). Examination modules constitute 60% while Assignment modules constitute 40% of the final assessment mark. Module assignments refer to either written assignment, practical reports, projects, and any other assessed work given at the end of each module. Final examination for examination modules is written at the end of each module. For Physical training or conventional training each student must have ≥80% attendance time to qualify to write a module examination or assignment. Students who fail to submit the assignment in time for assessment for any course will be marked out of 75%.

Examination Grading

The pass mark for all the courses is 50%.

Condition of Award
- A student must pass all modules to be awarded a Foundation / Practitioner / Diploma Certificate in Quality Systems.
- A Student must pass both the examination modules and the assignment modules.
- Failure to write an examination and non-submission of a required assignment will result in the student being deferred.
Re-write
- A candidate should pass at least two-thirds of the subjects to qualify for a rewrite.
- A candidate is given a maximum of two years to rewrite the failed subject.
- Rewrites should conform to current regulations and content.
