Course Outline

INTRODUCTION

Root Cause Analysis is a method used to address a problem or non-conformance, in order to get to the “root cause” of the problem.  It is used so we can correct or eliminate the cause, and prevent the problem from recurring.

Root Cause Analysis:

• Is part of the management system implementation that gives organisations the most problems and results in failures to adequately address non-conformities and implement effective improvement measures

TRAINING COURSE

This three-day training course covers:

• The principles of Root Cause Analysis
• Understanding tools and methodologies for carrying out Root Cause Analysis
• Selecting the right Root Cause Analysis tools and methodologies to use
• Practical exercises on the application of different Root Cause Analysis techniques

An examination is given at the end of the training.
