Course Outline
INTRODUCTION
RISK MANAGEMENT is a method used to identify potential risks which can negatively affect your ability to achieve the desired outputs of your processes and to put in place measures to reduce the likelihood of their occurrence or their impact on operations should they occur.
Risk Management:
- Is a proactive measure to reduce disruptions to operations,
- Can also be used to identify critical steps in individual production processes and to develop key indicators which are used to determine if the process is in control or not.
- Is part of management system implementation that gives organisations the most problems and results in product failures and downtime if appropriate measures are not developed and implemented
TRAINING COURSE
This three-day training course covers:
- The principles of Risk Management
- Understanding tools and methodologies for carrying out Risk Assessment
- Risk assessment, mitigation and monitoring of effectiveness mitigation strategies
- Use of Risk Management to identify critical control point in production processes
An examination is given at the end of the training
